Show Joy Me In Truck Ends in Near Serious Accident ' Three boys received injuries Sunday afternoon when the truck in which they were riding' struck a concrete bridge west of Springville Spring-ville near the rodeo grounds. They are David Hausman, 14, whose step-father and mother are Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Miner; Robert Har-mer, Har-mer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds Harmer, and Evan Francis, 13, son of Mrs. Barbara Francis. The Hausman boy was driving and the truck was owned by his step-father, police said. According to police reports, the boys had taken the truck out for a joy-ride while their parents were attending conference and had been riding around the back streets when the mishap occurred. The Harmer boy received severe head wounds and cuts when he was thrown clear of the car and into the creek. The other boys ; sustained cuts and bruises but after being treated by Dr. G. B. Orton they were returned home. Policemen Mead Weight and Tom Barret investigated. , |
