Show Nuptial Plans Revealed ... ' -v ' - ' I Miss Bonnie Baxter Wedding To Take Place Sept. 10 Miss Bonnie Baxter, charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Baxter ot this city will hecome the bride of Ralph H. Alexander of Salt Lake City in rites to take place Saturday evening September 10, in the Fourth ward chapel. News of the forthcoming nuptials was revealed in a beautifully arranged announcement party given at the home of the bride's parents par-ents Sunday and attended by twenty-one close friends of the bride-, to-be. As the guests returned from viewing the elaborate trousseau, they were seated at small tables which were centered with pastel-colored pastel-colored celophane hats decorated with fresh flowers. Tiny hats in varied colors were at each place and with just the end peeking out. tiny cards held the inscription, "No Longer Under the Hat" and the date and details of the marriage were told. ' Also centering the dining table was a single larger hat filled with summer blooms to further carry out the unique announcement theme. Miss Baxter, a graduate of the Springville high school and a former student of the B. Y. U., has been studying at the McCune School of Music in Salt Lake City the past year. Mr. Alexander, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Muse, 1410 S. State, Salt Lake City, is a veteran of World War II having served two years with the army in the South Pacific. He is a former student of the University of Utah. After their marriage, the couple plan a honeymoon in the Northwest North-west and will make their home in Salt Lake City. |
