Show New"BoostUtahValley"Organization Schedules Contest To Select Slogan Greater Utah Valley Incorporated announces a contest to select a slogan, which will best serve the purpose of the corporation in its advertising- and Dub- 5licity campaign. The purpose of the campaign will be to increase the general appreciation of Utah Valley as a place to live, to work, to play, to operate a business, or to invest in a new business. It is the aim of Greater Utah Valley Incorporated to campaign for the expansion of awareness, both inside and outside its boundaries boun-daries of Utah Valley's present virtues vir-tues and future opportunities as a center of culture, of industrial progress, of high quality agriculture, agricul-ture, of a growing volume of trade, of scenic attractions and recreation. recrea-tion. The slogan should be a short sentence or a phrase which will serve as a "Battle Cry" or "Spearhead" "Spear-head" for such a campaign. It cannot include all of the above mentioned concepts or objectives, but it should suggest as many as possible as effectively as possible. Rules Governing Contest: The contest is open to all residents resi-dents of Utah Valley. All entries must be mailed to Greater Utah Valley, Inc., Provo, Utah and post marked not later than October 1st. There is no limit to the number of sloa-ans each person may submit. sub-mit. Slogans will not be returned and become the property of Greater Great-er Utah Valley, Incorporated. They may be used in part, in full, or may be altered to suit the judgment of the officers. Judging Judging will be on simplicity, strengthd of appeal, accuracy of appeal or how well does it suggest the significant features or needs of Utah Valley; brevity, limited number of words; catchiness or euphony of word structure. PRIZES Prizes in the contest will total S100. There will be one prize of $50.00; one prize of $20.00; three prizes of $5.00 each and six prizes of $2.50 each.
