Show Beta Sigma Phi Gives Breakfast For Recent Bride A traditional bride's breakfast was given by members of the Beta Sigma Phi chapter to honor Mrs. Bert Childs, the former Klell Case, who was married on St. Valentines Day. The breakfast was given at "the home of Mrs. Archie Cameron, Sunday morning, with all members of the chapter in attendance. A Valentine motif was carried out in room and table decorations, the centerpiece being red and white sweet peas. Also clever little place cards made of heart-shaped cookies cook-ies added an appropriate note, and little favor corsages were made of red and white candies. The guest of honor was presented pre-sented with the traditional bride's gift consisting of a lovely silver tray, and she was also given a pretty corsage of red and white carnations. Miss Beverly Ann Thyrett acted as mistress of ceremonies during the breakfast and announced program pro-gram numbers. Shirley Thorn gave a toast to the bride. Mrs. Mary Bird gave two piano numbers, and Mrs. Frances Clark entertained with two vocal numbers, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Bird. Little Bruce Cameron gave two songs, accompanied accom-panied by. his mother, Mrs. Elliott Cameron. |
