Show ; W oAnjerett-Snyder Wedding In Salt Lake Temple ; 4 Mr. and Mrs. Rilphas Averett announce the marriage of their daughter ReNee, to Sgt. Robert A. ; Snyder, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Snyder of Altonah, Utah. The marriage was an event of ' Wednesday, March 2, and was performed per-formed in the Salt Lake temple with immediate relatives and close ; friends of the couple witnessing ; the ceremony. The bride wore a white satin wedding gown with net veil entrain. en-train. Her corsage was of orchids. Complimenting the bride, a party par-ty in the form of a shower was given Friday evening in Fourth ward Relief Society hall, which about seventy relatives and friends attended. A nicely arranged program, including in-cluding a vocal solo by Keith Averett Av-erett and a three-act play given by Valena Jones, featured the occasion. oc-casion. A delicious luncheon was served at long tables prettily decorated dec-orated with Spring flowers. Preceding Pre-ceding the luncheon, the guest of honor opened her many lovely gifts. Hostesses for the occasion were, Mrs. Mary Hatch, Mrs. Maggie Wood, Mrs. Vanza Mann, Mrs. Barbara Francis, Mrs. Wanda Boel, and Mrs. Lorna Warner. Also, preceding her marriage, Fay Ferre of Provo, entertained for the bride-elect at a shower at her home at which a group of girl friends, employees at Geneva, were the guests. A party is also planned by her friends for Thursday evening, to be held at the home of the bride's parents. Sgt. Snyder has recently returned re-turned from 18 months' service in Italy. He had been injured in combat com-bat three times prior to being given giv-en a furlough. The couple plan to visit relatives at Altonah and will leave Friday, to make their home in San Francisco, Calif., for the present. |
