Show ROAD IMPROVEMENTS TO HOBBLE CREEK NEARING COMPLETION "When summer campers travel the road to Hobble Creek canyon this summer, they will "note considerable con-siderable improvement, according to A. L. Thorpe, chairman of the Springville Chamber of Commerce road committee, who has worked with state and county officials to get the road fixed up. Mr. Thorpe said Wednesday that had not the storm come at this time, the work of oiling the road from 13th East to the forest boundary boun-dary would have been completed. The work is being done by BD. Palfreyman as a state highway project. The state also plans to place a seal coat on the road from Fourth East to 13th East in the very near future, Mr. Thorpe reported. Another An-other improvement was recently completed on the road about one-half one-half mile up the right-hand fork of the canyon which has been graveled by the forest department. When the present work is completed com-pleted a fine highway will extend i all the way to the canyon as ap-1 proximately three miles of road i extending from the forest bound- ' ary to the north boundary of Kelly's Grove was oiled by the county last fall. i |
