Show TRAVEL RATIONING i If the public maintains its cooperation co-operation with the Office of Defense De-fense Transportation and travels on buses and trains only when absolutely ab-solutely necessary, Col. J. Monroe Johnson, its director, thinks the necessity of rationing travel may be avoided. Col. Johnson's state- ment followed a warning by Pres. Truman that he would not hesitate to recommend rationing or other control of travel facilities if the public failed to heed the repeated requests by the' Government to eliminate needless travel. |
