Show SECOND ROUND BEGINS IN COM. LEAGUE Second round games in the Commercial league got underway here on January 8 when Senior Chamber, first round champs, met the Averett Yard at 8 p. m. Immediately Im-mediately following this game the Junior Chamber tangled with Hol-ley's Hol-ley's of Mapleton. In a practice tilt played here last Monday night, Ed Johnson's commercial cagers dropped a close game to the First ward of Provo, after holding a 16 to 6 lead midway mid-way in the second quarter. Led by Jones and Crane, the Provo team, with its rugged style of play, outscored the Johnson team 4 8 to 42 after playing an uphill battle most of the way. The game was pretty much of a rough and tumble affair, with both teams scrambling after the ball in the small old gym. In a game played at Orem, Holley's of Mapleton was defeated defeat-ed by an Orem team 59 to 42. Shooting baskets from all angles of the floor, the Orem club could not be stopped. F. Murray, M.
