Show Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Boorman have returned from Salt Lake where they visited friends during Mr. Boorman's vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jensen spent the week-end visiting with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lynne Arnette at Castle Gate. Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Test are enjoying en-joying a vacation trip to their former home at Yakima, Wash., and will also visit at various points in Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harmer and family of Layton spent the past week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Harmer of Maple-ton. Maple-ton. Carol Cherrington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cherrington, left Tuesday for West Field, N. J., where she Intends to stay indefinitely indefi-nitely with her sister, Mrs. W. B. Murdock, and family. Mrs. Vera Fotheringham (Vera Houtz) of Salt Lake City, spent the past few days here visiting with her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Houtz, and with other relatives and friends. Mrs. Harry B. Wood and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Mary Cragg, of Idaho Falls, Ida., visited here Sunday and Monday with the former's mother and sister, Mrs. A. V. San-ford San-ford and Mrs. Carrie Jolley. They also visited other relatives here. Miss Delia Baxter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Baxter of this city, left for Hickam Field, Hawaii, Ha-waii, where she will do clerical work for the government. Delia has been working wtih the Medical Medi-cal Corps at Kearns, Utah. . Mr. and Mrs. Eldon L. Reese returned re-turned Tuesday from a two-weeks' vacation to Los Angeles and San Diego, Calif., where they visited with relatives and friends. Mr. Reese will resume his teaching duties at the local high school where he taught commercial subjects sub-jects last year. Mrs. Al Packard and daughter, Mrs. Virginia Harker, have returned re-turned from a delightful trip to California. Enroute, they stopped in Reno, Nev., where they met Mr. Harker, who is stationed there. They visited in San Francisco, Los Angeles, returning via Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Ted Kindred and little son Evan spent the past week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Kindred. They left on Friday for Glendale, Calif., where they expect to spend a short time visiting vis-iting with their husband and daddy, dad-dy, Ted Kindred, who will get a short furlough after completing eight weeks of boot training at San Diego, Calif., in the Marine Corps. Georg' Murdock and family have returned to their home in Los Angeles, Calif., after spending a month's vacation at their ranch here in Hobble Creek canyon. Charles Conover accompanied them back to California and will visit his son, Charles Jr., and family, as well as other relatives and friends there. |
