Show IN OUR TOWN . . . Very little but alibis this week. Instead of digging up material for this column, I did some tilting with windmills and, like Don Quixote, Qui-xote, the aforesaid windmills threw me for a loss. Then, too, I read a booki It was not a new one exactly but one I want to recommend to every emotionaly mature man and woman in Springville; Spring-ville; the title, th Big Rock Candy Can-dy Mountain, by Wallace Stegner. Not spectacular, but one of the best I've hit in years. I think you'll like it. Another and briefer bit of reading read-ing is a small sheet which has been making the rounds the past week or two called "The Gospel According Accord-ing to Adolph." Due to a certain quaint phraseology used by the writer, we are unable to print this amusing sketch but if it is at all possible to find a copy, you must read it. After this bit of rest, we promise pro-mise to find someone interesting for you next week. THE CATALYST. |
