Show 'KIWANIS AIR PROBLEMS INMEETING Klwanlans Discuss Post-War Problems; Favor Booth For District Governor Kiwanis secretary, Clarence Jensen, Jen-sen, announces that 1$e next Kiwanis Ki-wanis meeting will be held September Sep-tember 14th. A meeting- of the directors was held Sunday and several Kiwanis problems and forthcoming events in connection with post-war planning plan-ning were aired. The club went on record as favoring John E. Booth of Spanish Fork as district governor gov-ernor for the Utah-Idaho district of Kiwanis for the coming term. The club further went on record as favoring cooperation with the United States Employment Service Ser-vice in post-war planning in Utah county. The Wartime Citizenship committee, with Harold Christen-sen Christen-sen as chairman, was designated as a representative of the Kiwanis club to serve in connection with hte Utah county post-war planning plan-ning committee which is expected to be named by the U.S.E.S. Directors are planning meetings for the near future to have candidates candi-dates on both parties for the Senatorial Sena-torial position, give views on winning win-ning the peace, states Secretary Jensen. |
