Show REGIONAL MEET OF P.-T. A. HERE SEPT. 17 Meeting At Art Building Will Feature Talks By National Official And School Executives The regional convention of the Parent-Teacher organizations will be held in Springville next Thursday Thurs-day with arrangements under the direction of Mrs. Gertrude Clements, Clem-ents, president of the local P.-T. A. council, and executive officers of the school organizations. Mrs. A. O. Watts, state vice-president, vice-president, will be in charge of the convention sessions, which will be conducted at the high school art building. The morning meeting will begin at 10 a. m., and luncheon will be served at noon. The visiting visit-ing delegates will be taken on a short tour of the art galleries immediately im-mediately after the luncheon. Mrs. Mae Huntington will conduct the tour. Mrs. Charles Rowe of Chicago, national field secretary for the P.-T. A., will be the principal convention speaker. Talks are also scheduled by Supt. J. C. Moffitt of the Provo city schools, and Supt. Owen L. Barnett of Nebo district schools. All P.-T. A. workers of the various var-ious councils are expected to attend at-tend the meeting, and the public is cordially invited. |
