Show MAPLETON 4-H CLUBS HOLD EXERCISES TUES. Under the direction of Mrs. Barbara Murray, the Mapleton 4-H clubs conducted their annual achievement exercises on Tuesday at the ward hall. C. G. Salisbury, representing the Springville Banking company, presented achievement pins to approximately ap-proximately 30 club girls who had completed their summer projects and about ten boys also received the awards. S. R. Boswell, Utah county agriculture agent, was a visitor and spoke during the exercises, exer-cises, as did Rea Hurst, extension agent. A feature of the achievement exercises was the exhibit of articles ar-ticles made by the club members during the summer. Three of the girls were asked to enter their work in a style revue at Provo on Wednesday evening. They are Barbara Bar-bara Bird, Anna Mae Bird, and Melva Dean Bird. |
