Show KOLOB M MEN TO ENTER CHURCH SOFTBALL FINALS According to Kolob Stake M Men supervisor, Harold Christensen, Christen-sen, the Kolob M Men will be rep-resened rep-resened in the All.Church Softball Soft-ball finals to be played in Salt Lake City the latter part of August. Au-gust. This annual tournament of the church is fast becoming a popular event for M Men as well as softball fans. Springville players who will probably make the trip are listed as follows, with a possibility of more being added if the National Guard boys return in time to participate par-ticipate in the tourney: Thales Brown, Carling Childs, Gene Robertson, Ro-bertson, George Bird, LaMar Roy-lance, Roy-lance, Juan Whiting, Joe Plumb-lee, Plumb-lee, Stuart Whiting,' Verl Jensen, Neil Whiting, LaMar Holley, and Reese Mower. These players have been selected select-ed from the three wards: the First, Fourth, and Mapleton to make up one of the strongest teams in the stake. Previous records of the stake in the All-Church events are expected expect-ed to be upheld with this outstanding out-standing selection of players. |
