Show LOCAL CHILDREN ' AIDED BY POLIO CAMPAIGN Boy And Girl Leave For Warm Springs, Ga., For Special Treatment Due to the success of the "March of Dimes" campaign in this city and other cities of the state, nine boys and girls in the state suffering suffer-ing from infantile paralysis have been able to go to the sanitorium at Warm Springs, Ga., for special treatment, it was announced Wed- nesday. Included among these nine boys and girls are two children from Springville, Carloee Childs, 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Childs, and Shirl Dallin, 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lacelle Dallin. Both local children are in urgent need of special treatment and with others, oth-ers, who left Monday for the sanitorium, sani-torium, are expected to be greatly benefited. The group of boys and girls were accompanied by Catherine Clark, physical therapist, and Mrs. V. E. Hampshire, attendant. |
