Show Japanese Motif Predominates At Fidelas Invitational Dancing Party t . One of the outstanding social events held in Springville this season sea-son was the annual invitational dancing party give by the Fidelas Social unit of Brigham Young university uni-versity Friday night in the Second Sec-ond ward hall, with approximately approximate-ly two hundred unit members and guests attending. An elaborate Japanese decorative decora-tive theme proved attractive, with Japanese lanterns, cherry trees, and blossoms lending an oriental atmosphere to the party. A beautiful Japanese lace cloth covered the serving table, which was centered with a lovely crystal service and miniature cherry trees in blossom were at either end of the table. Light from delicate Japanese Ja-panese lanterns added to the festive fes-tive scene. Girls in Japanese costumes cos-tumes served tasty refreshments. The Fidelas Trio sang their unit "sweetheart song," as a special spe-cial number. In the receiving line were committee com-mittee members, officers, patrons, and their partners, as follows: Chairman, Merle Fletcher; committee com-mittee members, Margaret Soren-son, Soren-son, Priscilla Gudmundsen, Gwen Anderson; officers, Gwen Johnson, John-son, Cenella Fagg, Maurine East; patrons, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley P.
