Show 'LEGION WOMEN ' TO CONDUCT A BOND DRIVE Funds To Purchase Hospital Plane; City Quota $4,200 American Legion women of Utah have obtained Utah War Finance Committee approval for a war bond sales campaign from Sept. 5 to 19, having as its goal the purchase of a hospital service plane costing $125,000. Spring-ville's Spring-ville's quota for the drive is set at $4,200. The campaign was arranged through Mrs. O. A. Wiesley and Mrs. H. A. Robbins, chairman and vice-chairman of the women's division. di-vision. It will be under the active supervision of Mrs. Golda Mc-Shane, Mc-Shane, president, and Mrs. Mildred Mil-dred Farrington, secretary, American Amer-ican Legion Auxiliary, Dept. of Utah. ' Each Legion Auxiliary unit president was asked to appoint a committee to contact every auxiliary auxil-iary and legion member and their families, asking them to buy or sell extra bonds during the drive. The purchased plane will bear the name of Utah's Legion Auxiliary. |
