Show "WIZARD OF OZ" PRESENTED AT LINCOLN SCHOOL "The Wizard of Oz" an original origin-al operetta based on the movie version of the famous story was presented several times during the past week by students and in-strutcors in-strutcors of the Lincoln school. Performances were given for students of the Grant, Jefferson, Mapleton, and Lincoln Schools as well as an evening performance rof the public. The plot, dialogue, and most of the sixteen songs were written by teachers of the school. There were also several outstanding dance and formation marching numbers. Art work was done by students and teachers. Character parts were taken by Norma Liechty, Eell Francis, Art Child, Max Singleton, Donald Hume, Donna Harmeson, Mary Louise Rowiand, Elaine Jones, LaRue Evans, Marjorie Boyer, Mart Bringhurst, Zelbert Sum-sion, Sum-sion, Fred Ewing, Mark Harris, and Tommy Oakes. Elaborate costumes made by parents and rented from the W.P. A. costume projects in Spanish Fork contributed to the success of the delightful production. |
