Show ILEEN COOK GETS UTAH COUNTY 4-H SCHOLARSHIP According to a report by Miss Bessie J. Kirkham, county home demonstration agent, Ileen Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heber . Cook has been declared Utah county winner of the annual $100 scholarship to the Utah State Agricultural college presented by Union Pacific Railroad company. Lucy Ollerton was named al. ternate. Thornton, La Verl Christensen and David H. Jones and approved approv-ed by Union Pacific officials, Miss Kirkham said. Miss Cook, graduate of Springville Spring-ville high school last June, won the award for outstanding 4H club work. She is vice-president ' of the Anchor Home Furnishings club led by Mrs. Estella Ollerton. She has been a club member five years and acted as assistant leader lead-er one year. Winners of the award in Utah ' county for the past three years have been DeVere Weight, Spring- ville, 1939; Frank Cornaby, Ben i jamin, 1938, and Robert Weight, |
