Show LABOR COUNCIL SHIFTS WAIT NEXT SESSIONS No changes in the personnel of the executive council of the Utah State Federation of Labor will be made before the next convention con-vention of the federation next September, J. Irving Nichols, chairman, announced Saturday night after an all-day meeting of the council at the Labor temple, 151 Second East street in Salt Lake City. '"All officers will maintain until the convention," Mr. Nichols said, adding that "there is complete harmony within the ranks of the federation." Mr. Nichols said that the former for-mer legislative committee of three, members of the executive council, had disbanded and that the entire executive council of 12 members henceforth will function as a legislative committee. Disbanding of the three-man legislative committee was announced an-nounced as a tentative step in a statement issued by the council November 2 5, following a previous pre-vious meeting of the council. At that time all organizations affiliated affili-ated with the federation were requested re-quested to send delegates to the meeting Sunday to participate in the discussion of legislative matters mat-ters and other problems. |
