Show MRS. C. N0AKES SERVICES HELD .Services for Mrs. Catherine (Kate) Boyack Nonkes, 57, widow wi-dow of William I. Nonkes, who died Saturday morning of a heart ailment at the family home, Fifth South and Fourth East, were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the First ward. She spent her early life in Spanish Fork, moving to Springville Spring-ville after marrying on January 27, 1904. Her husband died in February of 1939. Mrs. Noakes was active in the L. D. S. church, especially In the Relief Society. Surviving are a daughter and four sons, W. Wallace Noakes of Walker Mines California; Ralph Noakes of Oakland, California; Mrs. Thelma Whitty of Martinez, California; G. Sterling Noakes of Springville, and F. Bornoll Noakes now with the U. S. Navy at I'uarl Harbor, Hawaii; also one grandchild, grand-child, and five brothers and sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Emoline Bowers and Fenton and John Boyack of Spanish Span-ish Fork; Mrs. Elizabeth Young of Moua, and Mrs. Ida Whiting of Mapleton. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under direction of the A. Y. Wheeler & Son mortuary. |
