Show "Armed Forces Bernice Chader Visiting Here Bernice Chader of the air WACs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Chader, is visiting her parents par-ents and other relatives and friends in Springville. She is stationed sta-tioned at Shreveport, La., with the statistical section of the air base, and was given a 15-day furlough. fur-lough. Ercil Hone Visits Relatives Here On a five days' delayed order enroute to the Missouri State Teachers' College, Ercil Hone visited vis-ited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hone and other relatives and friends here this week, leaving leav-ing on Wednesday. He called in at the Herald office and expressed his thanks to the Junior Chamber of Commerce for the Herald, stating stat-ing that he did appreciate news from home. Local Man Graduates From Naval Station Max Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcellus Nielson, has graduated grad-uated from the naval training station at Great Lakes, according to word received here. William Blackett Returns To Camp Pfc. William Blackett has returned re-turned to Camp McQauide, Cal., following a visit with his sister, Mrs. Clifton Marsh and other relatives rel-atives and friends here and at Mapleton. Robert Marsh Visits At Mapleton Pvt. Robert Marsh, who has Deen stationed at vjamp uaiion, visited a short time at Mapleton Maple-ton with his parents and friends, leaving Saturday for Fort Bliss, Texas, for further training in antiaircraft anti-aircraft artillery. Welby Metcalf Leaves For Air Corps Welby Metcalf will leave Saturday Sat-urday for Fort Douglas, where he will be stationed for a week before going to Amarillo, Texas, for basic training. Service Man And Wife Visits Here Flight Officer Frank Butler and Mrs. Butler came from Deming, N. M., the past week to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. been transferred to another station sta-tion for intermediate training. A son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Edding-ton, Edding-ton, he is a graduate of Springville Spring-ville high school and attended University of Utah. Local Man In Foreign Hospital Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Butler have received word that their son, Pierce, is in the hospital, probably in Italy. He has been in the hospital hos-pital five weeks and the nature of his illness is not definitely known.
