Show Florence Hoffman Services Held Glowing tributes were paid Mrs. Florence Boyer Hoffman, wife of Frederick D. Hoffman, who died Thursday at the family residence, ajid to the family and friends, at services held Sunday afternoon in the Third ward chapel. cha-pel. Claude Salisbury , and Peter Nielson, speakers, expressed words of comfort and consolation to the large .number of family members and friends who gathered to pay final respects to Mrs. Hoffman. Merle Sargent of the Third ward bishopric conducted the services. ser-vices. Invocation was offered by Bishop Wm. Witney and the benediction bene-diction was given by Fred Smith. Musical numbers included vocal numbers, "Face to Face," "The Rosary," "Isle of Golden Dreams," sung by Virginia Bird, Elmo Coff-man, Coff-man, and Annie and Lula Fox, respectively. Mrs. Hoffman was born in Springville, July' 30, 1908, a daughter of Ernest M. and Gilda Rakestraw Boyer. She was educated educat-ed in the Springville schools. She was married July 12, 1932, at Price. Surviving besides her husband are her father of Springville; a brother and three sisters, Mrs. Lela B. Packard, Mrs. Betty Louise SunAion, Ernest M. Boyer, Jr., of Springville. and Mrs. Delia B. Bird of Salt Lake City. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under the direction of the C. O. Claudin funeral home. |
