Show D. U. P. CAMPS PLAN UTAH COUNTY OUTING Plans are underway for the annual an-nual Utah County D. U. P. outing out-ing to be held in Springville Saturday, Sat-urday, June 1. Mrs. Flossie P. Sanford, vice-captain vice-captain of Springville Camp Ko-lob, Ko-lob, is general chairman of the outing, which is being held in commemoration of the anniversary of Brigham Young's birthday. The combined camps of each community will be responsible for one number on the program. These numbers are to be sent as soon as possible to the county president, Mrs. Sarah Passey of Provo. Approximately 1000 D. U. P. camp members from organizations organiza-tions throughout Utah county are expected to attend the program, which will begin at 2 p. m. at the City park, and will be preceded by a luncheon. All D. U. P. members mem-bers will be asked to wear pioneer pio-neer sunbonnets. ' General committees for the affair af-fair include: Nettie Thorn, Mary Hatch, Lutie Watts, Georgia Plumlee, park arrangements; Jo-sie Jo-sie Alleman, Irene Strong, Jean-ette Jean-ette Ullock, Viola Allen, tables; Ella Reynolds, Catherine Sumsion, Sum-sion, Hilda Cherrington, Nellie Wiscombe, entertainment; Emma , Beardall, Laura Alleman, Lydia Palfreyman, Eva Bird, concessions; conces-sions; Sarah Weight, Dorothy Wheeler, Lula Leichty, Pearl Holley, Hol-ley, Zelma Beardall, and Lela Sumsion, decorations. |
