Show New Resuscitator Acquired This Week Springville Machine Is Resuscitator, Aspirator and Inhalator And Will Be Used By the City Firemen A new, modern, up-to-date resuscitator recently-purchased recently-purchased by Springville city is expected to arrive this week-end, it was announced today. The machine Life Saver . . . - i : v.-.-,r. is a combination resuscitator, inhalator, and aspirator, and is one of the best to be had in its line, according to Fire Chief Roy Despain. A self-adjusting, automatic breathing machine, it is used where natural respiration has failed, causing asphyxia. It is designed to be used by emergency emer-gency squads in industrial plants, on beaches, in ambulances, ambu-lances, and hospitals, and operates oper-ates equally well on adults, children and babies. It can be used in such common emergencies emergen-cies as drowning, electric shock, carbon monoxide poisoning, asphyxia as-phyxia of newborn babies, and other cases. In addition to resuscitation, the machine can be used for aspiration of froth or mucus from a patient's throat and also it can be used as an inhalator to feed oxygen or oxygen carbon-dioxide mixtures to patients who can breathe of their own effort.
