Show I Murals for San Francisco Fair DEAN COENWELL (center), a member of the national academy, winner of the New York architectural architec-tural league award for 1938 and the gold medal of the allied artists of America, works with. George Davidson (left), A.N.A., on the full-color murals to be displayed by Fisher Body in its exhibit at the Golden Gate International Exposition Exposi-tion in San Francisco, as William S. McLean, director of advertising for the body-building division of General Motors, looks on. Ths two panels, which are intended to convey con-vey an impression of the strength and safety of the "unisteel" turret top body, were designed by tha nationally known illustrator and mural painter. They are being-executed being-executed on canvas against a gold leaf background by Davidson and Carlo Ciampaglia, also an associate of the national academy. |
