Show VISITORS Here and There Mrs. Mary Miner left recently to visit indefinitely at Bakersfield, Calif. Virginia Rivers left Friday to spend the holidays with friends in California. Mr. and Mrs: W. A. Eird, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bird of Midvale, - left Friday to spend the holidays at Pasadena, Calif. ' , Fred Childs. employed in aircraft construction in California, spent the holidays with his mother, Mrs. Belle Childs. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cherrington and baby came from Grace, Ida., to spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cherrington and other relatives. Mrs. E. S. Groesbeck and son, Monty, John Groesbeck and Jessee Groesbeck, left Saturday to visit E. S. Groesbeck in the U. S. army service at Camp Cook, Calif. Kent Thorn came from California Califor-nia to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Thorn, in Sprngville. Mrs. Arvil Bird spent several days of the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Lambert, Lam-bert, in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Julia Dallin left recently to visit indefinitely with her son, Glenn Dallin, and family at Long Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Harrison and Miss Dorothy Dixon of Ogden, have spent the past week visiting the former's son, Virl, in the U. S. army camps in California. ' ' Nicholas Bird came from California Cali-fornia to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Bird, and other relatives and friends here. Irene Bird has returned to Burbank, Bur-bank, Calif., following a visit with her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Bird. Just before leaving California, Irene visited her brothers, Lawrence and Don, both of whom are in the army camps. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kindred and daughter, Beth, and son, Ted, visited vis-ited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fifield and family at Heber City. Carol Bird, Beth Anderson, Ber-nice Ber-nice Palfreyman, and Carol Con-die, Con-die, were among the out-of-town teachers who spent the . holidays with relatives in Springville. Mildred Parry was among the students attending school out-of-'town to spend the holidays in Springville. She visited her father, Will Parry, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Richardson and daughters, Ann and Rosemary, of Salt Lake City, have spent the past ten days as guest of Mrs. Richardson's parents, Dr. and Mrs. G. G. Neill. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Richardson have moved to Cedar City, where Mr. Richardson has been trans-; ferred, to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A. Weenig of Ogden, were guests of the lat-ter's lat-ter's mother, Mrs. Retta Harmer, on Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Harmer of Torrance, Calif., visited their parents, Mrs. Retta Harmer and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Jenkins, and other relatives and friends here during the holidays. Among the holiday visitors in Springville. were Mr. and Mrs. Del-bert Del-bert Fullmer and children of Riverside, Ri-verside, Calif. They spent the time with Mrs. D. D. Fullmer and other relatives and friends. Mrs. D. D. Fullmer accompanied accompan-ied her son, Delbert, and family on their return to California to spent about two weeks with a daughter, Mrs. L. K. Harper, and family at Long Beach, and other relatives in California. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Christensen of St. George, visited this week with friends in Springville. Mr. Christensen is a former instructor in the Springville high school. Holiday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kimbal Larsen were Mr. and Mrs. Austin Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Bawden, Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Kelly and Betty Jean Kelly of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Edwin Ed-win Larsen and Norma Larsen of Gunnison. LaJeune Whitney of Salt Lake City spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Whitney and family in Springville. Mrs. Earl Child of Ogden spent a few days of the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson, John-son, in Springville. Mary Louise Wingate spent the Christmas holidays with friends in California. Mrs. Maude Curtis has spent the past several weeks with relatives and friends in California. I Kenneth Olsen, employed at Ogden, Og-den, spent Christmas with his mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Pearl Olsen, and other relatives and friends in Springville. Spring-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bringhurst and little daughter of Washington, Washing-ton, D. C, are spending a month's vacation with Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Bringhurst in this city and with other relatives and friends at Logan. Frank Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis K. Johnson, came from California to spend the holidays with his parents and other relatives rela-tives here. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sayer of Pocatello, Idaho, spent the holidays holi-days with Mrs. Sayer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Holley, at Mapleton. Ted Kindred, employed at the' Lockheed airplane factory in Burbank, Bur-bank, Calif., spent the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kindred of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Mendenhall Menden-hall of Stockton, Calif., have returned re-turned to their home following a few days holiday visit with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Mendenhall, at Mapleton. Wendell Wen-dell was the principal speaker at the Mapleton Sunday night service. ser-vice. Lyle Hatch, employed at the Lockheed airplane factory, Burbank, Bur-bank, Calif., and his sister, Aur-iene Aur-iene Hatch, also employed at Burbank, Bur-bank, spent the Christmas holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hatch, in Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Thales Brown of Logan, visited over the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. James Wis-combe, Wis-combe, at Mapleton, and other relatives rel-atives and friends in Springville. Mrs. Brown will visit several days longer with her parents, at Mapleton. Ma-pleton. Keith Boyer came from school at Logan to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. J.
