Show WORKERS RECEIVE AWARDS FOR SAVINGS DEVICES A total of $300,000 in time and material has been saved at Hill Field since inauguration of the Efficiency Award program last October, Brig. General Morris Berman, commanding general of the Ogden Air Service Command, announced today, revealing that the savings was accomplished through adoption of 214 suggestions sugges-tions submitted by workers. , For their resourcefulness in inventing in-venting time-saving shortcuts and labor-saving devices, the workers have received cash awards, ranging rang-ing from $5 to $250 for a total of $7,000, the General said. Money for the awards is furnished by the War Department. |
