Show Parents of Couple ' Accept Settlement Parents of a young newly wedded wedd-ed couple asphyxiated in an auto court tragedy at Verdi, Nev., September Sep-tember 19, 1955, have accepted an out-of-court settlement from the motel owners, Lester C. and Margaret Mar-garet E. Mylan, their attorneys disclosed Saturday of last week. The young people Marion and Dawna Mendenhall Cluff were on a honeymoon trip when they checked in at the Mylan Motel. They were found dead the following follow-ing morning. Investigators said the gas heating unit's fumes were not piped out but led only into the hollow cinder block from which they filtered back into the room. Parents of the victims Spencer M. and Nina Cluff of Provo and Aaron B. and Jane Mendenhall of Mapleton accepted a "substantial" "substan-tial" out-of-court settlement said Leon Frazier of the Sandgren-Howard-Frazier law firm, their attorneys. at-torneys.
