He reported today that two years ago, there were three Cub packs in Kolob district and at present there are eight packs. The enrollment has reached approximately approxi-mately 250 boys between the ages of 8 through 10 years and there are about 50 adult leaders in the work ho said. An excellent program of activity activi-ty is carried on with the boys whose parents have exhibited considerable con-siderable interest and cooperation, Mr. Harris said. The activity will be carried on through the summer sum-mer and many interesting phases of recreation planned along with the course of study. Approximately 55 Cub Scouts and their parents enjoyed an excursion ex-cursion to Salt Lake City via train recently and it was the first train ride for many of the boys. Eight cars met them at the depot de-pot In Salt Lake and they were taken on a sight-seeing trip around the city including a visit to the TV station, Hogle Gardens and Liberty Park, where they had lunch. |
