Show interest . . . Mrs. Kva Crnndall has had her son Gordon Crnndall and his wife and two sons visiting here from Groat Nech, Long Island, N.Y. Thoy came especially for the graduation grad-uation of their daughter Virginia from the Brigham Young univeiv sity and also to attend the wedding wed-ding of another daughter Mary Crandall and Robert Hales of New York, whose reception is Wednesday Wednes-day evening in Salt Lake City. During their stay in Utah, they will visit relatives and friends also in Salt Lake City. Tooele and other cities and before returning will travel to California to visit relatives. Mr. niul Mrs. Ellis Bird returned Monday from an enjoyable vacation vaca-tion trip. Accompanied by their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pierce, they spent spent an enjoyable weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, recently. The trip was planned momentarily after Valena's graduation from Jordan high school. All had a wonderful time and came home with a mixture mix-ture of sun-tan and burns. Mrs. Zetta, Ilafen Larson of La- Jolla, Calif., has been visiting in Springville the past three weeks with her sister, Mrs. Rachael H. Borror, also an aunt, Mrs. Delia Harris in Springville and with a brother Fred Hafen and family in Provo. Mrs. Ellen Session and daughter returned last week to their home in Maiden, Wash., after spending five months with Mrs. Session's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wheeler both of whom have been in ill health. three days touring Bryce canyon, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Hoo'"r dam. Later, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dunn, they traveled into Colorado touring Mesa Verde national park and then toured through New Mexico and Arizona, traveling along highway 89. Especially Es-pecially interesting were the Es-calante Es-calante Indian pueblos in New Mexico. They were gone five days on the latter trip. Mrs. Lillian Blackett of May-wood, May-wood, Calif., is visiting in Springville Spring-ville with a sister, Mrs. Flora Mcpherson, Mc-pherson, a brother Harvey Blackett Black-ett and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Ray Eldredge and family left this week for a few days vacation vaca-tion in Phoenix, Ariz., where they will visit her sister and other relatives'. rela-tives'. ,-.. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Jellison of Upland, Calif., returned to their home this week following a few days visit with their son John Jellison and family in Springville. The Ivan Jellisons are former residents resi-dents of Springville Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Boorman have as their guest, Mrs. Boor-man's Boor-man's father, Richard Kellar of Phoenix, N. Y. Mr. and Mrs. A. SI. Lyall have as their house guest, Mr. Lyall's sister, Mrs. Janet Wetterich of Cedar Wege, Colo., who will visit here a few weeks.
