Show Blaine Murdock Named Utah Poultry President Blaine Murdock was elected the president of the Springville-Maple-tc-n branch of the Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative, at a meeting conducted on Wednesday evening of last week at Mapleton. Elected to serve with Mr. Murdock Mur-dock are Frank Sanford, vice-president, vice-president, and Reed Hales, director. direc-tor. Eldon R.eese is secretary and A. W. Cherrington and Don Miner are hold-over directors. Don Miner is the retiring president; presi-dent; Lewis Wing and Reese Anderson, An-derson, retiring directors. The meeting to which members of the Poultry Auxiliary were invited, in-vited, featured two films, one entitled en-titled "The , Milk White Way," showing various phases of the UP operations and another on poultry furnished by the Brigham Young university. Vernon Ferre, auditor of the organization, or-ganization, was in attendance and spoke briefly stating among other things that the local warehouse was now owned by the poultrymen here, payment having been made through a scale-off from eggs sold to the local plant during the past several years. The meeting concluded with refreshments. |
