Show ' Fine Opera Review Heard At Club One of the most interesting meetings scheduled for the club year was given at the home of Mrs. F. C. Packard Thursday evening for members mem-bers of the Ladies Literary club. Mrs. Eliza T. Bringhurst of Salt Lake City' reviewed the opera, II Troviata and in connection con-nection with her review gave a number of solos from the musical composition. She was ably assisted by her accompanist, accomp-anist, Mrs. Virginia Frieberg also of Salt Lake City who gave the introduction to the opera on the piano. Mrs. Glen Sumsia(n, club president, was in charge of the meeting introducing the guest entertainers. Preceding the program, a nicely arranged lunch was served by the hostess to club members and special guests, Mrs. Nettie Thorn, Mrs. Norma Nor-ma Strong, Mrs. Florence Nielson and Mrs. Florence Packard, the latter of Provo. |
