Show 2 in 1 Game JJERE is a jig-saw puzzle and a 3-in-a-row game combined. The playing board is made from heavy carboard six inches square. Around the outer rim a one-inch strip of cardboard is glued to make a frame for the 16 one-inch squares which are marked with India ink on the playing board. For the "3-in-a-row" game you need 16 markers. These are eight round and eight square pieces of cardboard. Players move in turn, the "round" player trying to get three in a row and the "square" ( player endeavoring to block the moves. The diagram shows the "round" player scoring a win. For the jig-saw puzzle you must get a picture four inches square (or draw one). Paste it on a piece -- S 1W A PLAY ROW BOARD z in i Nri-H cAMEM JIS-SAW ; of cardboard, rule it off into 18 one-inch squares, and then cut it up into its 16 separate pieces. Take out any one of the corner pieces, jumble up the remaining 15 squares and place them on the playing board. The idea now is to get the picture right by sliding the squares along piece by piece in any direction. When the 15 pieces are back in their true position, the 16th piece is placed in the empty square at the corner. This is counted as an extra move. If you are in competition with another player the one who solves the puzzle in the fewest number of moves is the winner.
