Show Ceremony in Manti Temple Unites Mr., Mrs. Robert Hurst, Mapleton Numerous friends and relatives greeted the new Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hurst at a wedding reception Wednesday night in the Mapleton-Ward Church. They were married- me previous aay UW the Manti Temple. Mrs". Hurst is the former Bernita Cazier, pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde B. Cazier of Mapleton and Robert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Waldon Hurst of Mapleton. The bride was charming in a ballerina length wedding gown fashioned of chantilly lace and nylon net over white satin. Her filmy veil was attached to a becoming be-coming shirred crown and was finger-tip length. She carried a single orchid surrounded by white stephenotis. Attending her were Mrs. Janet Taylor who was matron ma-tron of honor and the following bridesmaids: Norma Hatfield, Lu-Ann Lu-Ann Stevens, Evon Hurst, Sharon Jensen, Mary Ann Bird and Aldeen Cazier who were prettily attired in pastel formals in ballerina length and carried nose-gays of pink camelias and carnations surrounded surround-ed by white stephonotis. Receiving guests with the bride and groom were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Cazier and Mr. and Mrs. Waldon Hurst. Mrs. Cazier was attractive in a tan afternoon dress adorned with a corsage of a white gardenia and pink rose buds. Mrs. Hurst was becoming in ivory col- j ored corde and wore a corsage of white gardenias and pink rose buds. Dean Binks performed the duties of best man. In charge of the guest book were' LaRae Larsen and Gloria Snow. Supervising the serving were: Dorothy Lee, Ida Diamond, Gladys Parry, Mae Binks, and they were assisted by the following girls, Sharon Lee Jensen, Kathleen Lee, Julia Cloward, Sharon Roundy and Margie Warren. Arranging gifts were Rae Larsen; Lar-sen; Mina Llewellyn and Mary Diamond. Mont Morris was master of ceremonies cer-emonies and he introduced the following fol-lowing program: prayer, Ross Hall; song, Jane Jensen, toast to the bride, Thera Lou Jensen, toast to the groom, Bishop Welby Warren, War-ren, dance duet, Myma Harmer and Mary Lou Snow; song, Judy Wiscombe accompanied by Boyd Hales; reading, Helen Campbell; song, Sherie Helquist accompanied by LuAnn Stevens; prayer, Duane Binks. The young couple left for a honeymoon trip Thursday morning to Las Vegas and Hoover Dam. They will make their home in Mapleton. |
