'Public Invited to ' Hafen-Dallm Lectures on Art Commemorating the April art Month, the Springville Hafen-Dal-lin Art Study club is sponsoring three art lectures to which the public is invited, announces President Presi-dent Zina Johnson. The first of the series will be Thursday (today) at 4:15 p.m., in the Little Theater, where Oliver Parson, curator of the National Exhibit, will give a lecture on the painting's. On April 15, Avard Fairbanks, noted Utah sculptor, recently appointed ap-pointed head of sculpture department depart-ment at the University of Utah, will give an art lecture and demonstration demon-stration modeling a bost of the artist John Hafen. It is hoped that as many members of the Hafen family as possible, will attend the meeting. The third meeting in the series on April 22, will feature Wylie Swapp of the BYU art faculty in an illustrated lecture on fields of. creative art less familiar to the public. A meeting for club members only is also announced for April 29, to be in the form of a social and election elec-tion of officers.
