Show Springville Plays Spanish Fork Team Here Tonight Spingville will play the Spanish Fork baseball club here tonight (Wednesday) at 5:30 p.m. in an important im-portant Central Utah league game. The game promises to be a thriller and every- ' one is invited to see it. Wins, Ises ... The local diamond crew won a thrilling: 7-6 game from Payson here last Wed. night thanks to the brilliant playing of Kent Miner Mi-ner who had a field day both in the field, catching impossible high fielders, and at the bat where he drove In the winning run after hitting three for three. Sunday the Springville club fell by the wayside in the eighth to let Santaquin score six runs and win the game 13-10. Jackman pitched for Springville in the Pay-son Pay-son game with Haymond doing the chucking against Santaquin. Paul Wilson is currently leading , all batters in the CU league with a .550 percentage in 20 times at bat. Jim Fullmer has a .333 rating in 27 times at bat. Week's Schedule . .
