Show yewd rioted... Mr. and Mrs. Olin Zabriskie are in Utah from Honolulu, T. H. and have been visiting Olin's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cutler, and with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Zabriskie, in Fairview. Mr. Zabriskie is employed em-ployed with the government in the Islands. Mr. and Mrs. France Child and family of Salt Lake visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Child, here over the week end. Miss Ge-niel Ge-niel also came from Jackson, Wyo. where she is employed for the summer, sum-mer, to visit her parents in Springville. Spring-ville. Carting Childs, , son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Childs, has graduated from the University of Southern California, according to word, re- ceived by his parents .Carling has been working full time and going to school for the past several years in California. Mrs. Grant Palfreyman and children, Ann and Grant, left Tuesday Tues-day for a vacation in Idaho and Yellowstone Park. They will join their husband and father in Black-foot, Black-foot, Idaho and visit friends there. They plan to go from there to Yellowstone Park and Jackson. Joyce Sumsion, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Sumsion, Nolene Palfreyman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Palfreyman, and Blaine oBeardall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Beardall, left Saturday night to work at Yellowstone Park until school begins. The girls will be employed at Old Faithful Inn and Blaine at Fishing Bridge. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Sumsion and son, Keith, left Friday evening for a 10-day vacation in the Northwest. North-west. They will visit Mrs. Sum-sion's Sum-sion's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Anthon, at Vana-chee, Vana-chee, Wash., and will also tour places of interest in Washington and Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. 3. A. Miller had as their guests Saturday evening and Sunday Mr. Miller's sister and husband, Mn and Mrs. George A. Rodgers of Los Angeles, Calif. They were on a tour of Utah, Colorado, Colo-rado, Wyoming and New Mexico. Mrs. Emma D. Russell and daughter, Jane, of Berkeley, Calif, are vacationing with relatives and friends in Springville, the guests of her brother and sister-in-law, Bishop and Mrs. Oliver Dalton. In honor of the visitors, a number of social functions have been given the past few days, including a dinner din-ner Saturday evening by Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. James Jensen returned re-turned to Salt Lake City Saturday evening, after spending a week with relatives and friends in Springville. They were in company with Mrs. Jensen's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bird, who were in Springville to attend the Bird-Tew-Sumsion reunion. |
