Show Local Contractors To Supply Gravel Utah county recently let a contract con-tract to Whiting and Haymond of this city to crush 15,000 tons of gravel at 55 cents per ton, with which to rebuild a 13-mile stretch of flood-damaged road in Diamond Fork canyon. The alternate routes are around Strawberry reservoir or through Hobble Creek canyon from Springville crossing down canyon to Three Forks. The Utah county weed control program is now in full swing with crews spraying some 1500 miles of county roads. This program is expected ex-pected to be completed by the end of July. .. . The program calls for the first spraying for whitetop; a second to catch annuals and a third for rose briers and perennials. |
