Show Ourtb Of J I d I ' n p Fourth Ward Elders to Sponsor Day's Program The Fourth of July will be celebrated in Springville Spring-ville and elaborate plans are going forward under lirection of the Fourth Ward Elders Quorum for N events to entertain all ages, according ac-cording to President Glenn Tipton. The program of entertainment is tentatively outlined to include a parade, a patriotic program, ball games, races and contests, concessions conces-sions of all kinds of entertainment for the youngsters such as a merry-go-round, airplane rides and others. ' Arrangements have been made to exchange parade floats with Provo and the time for the Springville Spring-ville parade is tentatively set at 6 p.m. The program will be held at the Park at 4 o'clock. All business houses in Springville Spring-ville will be contacted and asked to enter a float. Also all clubs i and other civic organizations as ! well as church organizations will : be asked to enter a float. In charge of parade arrange- ments are: LuDean Litster, Archie j Cameron, and Norman Tipton. I Prizes will be offered for the best floats. The program is under direction of Aaron Card and George Pehrson is arranging for the ball game and other sports events. Other details of the celebration I will be announced in later issues I of the paper. |
