Another exhibit to be rather unique and different is planned by the Hafen-Dallin club, following the present one. opening Sunday, January 17, Zina Johnson, club president announces. Richard Gunn, former art instructor in-structor and curator at the high schorl will take the initiative in combining the works of several BYU artists in various lines for the forthcoming exhibit. Ardent supporters of the art movement in Springville, artists at the "Y" will be represented in the coming show by not only paintings but by various examples of creative crea-tive axt, Miss Johnson said. This will give patrons an opportunity to see art in various mediums and types, and acquaint the public and especially talented art students with the rich and varied opportunity oppor-tunity for creative art expression. The following art show and the concluding one of the series will feature the work of amateur artists ar-tists of Springville. |
