Whiting left this week to spend a two-weeks vacation in California Strong and Grant, local contractors con-tractors were the lowest bidders and received , the ; contract Saturday Sat-urday from the state road commission com-mission for construction of two underpasses and an overhead crossing together with 1.2 miles of highway near Eighth South, in this city. Cost of the project to the state is $161,747.72 of which $136,743.39 is to go to the contractors. |
