Show Pub'ic Invited To Musical Bridge Tea In Salt Lake The public is invited to attend a musical bridge tea, sponsored by the officers of the Utah State Federation Fe-deration of Music clubs, it was announced an-nounced today by Mrs. Max Huff. The tea is the first in a series of events which will take place in preparation for the National Music clubs biennial convention in Salt Lake City in 1951, and will be held January 14 at the governor's mansion man-sion from 1 to 5 p.m. A Springville Ladies chorus and string quartet under the direction of Mrs. Bliss Hoover, wil participate partici-pate in the icontinuous musical program. The entertainment will also include in-clude bridge and other games. Proceeds will be used for national convention costs and arrangements. Reservations may be made with Mrs. Huff by calling 216 W. There is also room for 18 or 20 in the bus leaving from the Hoover home at 11 a.m.. Those desiring de-siring to go by bus should call Mrs. Huff. |
