Show Miss Ruth Holley Is Wed To John W. " Whiteley In June Church Ceremony m N A charming June wedding united in marriage Ruth Holley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John I. Holley of Mapleton and John W. Whiteley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carrel W. Whiteley of Silver City, N. M. The ceremony was performed at the Mapleton ward hall by Bishop Oscar Whiting. Immediately Imme-diately following, a reception was held at the recreation hall. Attending the groom as Best man was Ben Allen of Idaho Falls, Ida. The bride selected as matron of honor, her sister, Mrs. Grace Olsen and as maid of honor another sister, Wanda the bride's grandfather, Hyrum B. Perry who is 90 years old. Guests were welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Mildred Mendenhall and Tony Reynolds. Guest book was in charge of Maralyn Holley a niece of the bride. Refreshments were served from a lace covered table centered by a wedding cake. Serving were: Marie Fullmer, Marie Everett, Mary Mendenhall. Maxine Warren, War-ren, Phyllis Hansen and Ranea Hopla. A program, with Don Bybee as master of ceremonies was enjoyed en-joyed during the evening. Holley. Bridesmaids were Cath- r rine Ann Holley, a sister; Connie Con-nie Warren, Shirley Hansen, Joan Hurst and Helen Holley. The bride's gown was white lace over slipper satin, with high neck, long sleeves and a train. She wore a fingertip veil caught by a crown of lace and seed pearls. Her bouquet was orchids and stephanotis. Mrs. Olsen ! chose a gown of turquoise blue and the maid of honor chose pink organdy. Bridesmaids dresses . were similar organdy creations in i shades of pink and blue. AH carried colonial bouquets. c Mother of the bride chose a r teel blue frock with coral roses and gardenias in a corsage. Of interest in the receiving line was I |
