Beck nee Miss LaVon Jackson Miss LaVon Jackson Took Wedding Vows With Alton C. Beck Recently Recently, wed in an impressive ceremony in the First ward church, Mr. and Mrs. Alton C. Beck are now at home in Payson. After the weddine: rites, thev $ spent a few days honeymoon at Boulder Dam, Las Vegas and the Southern Utah canyons. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Lewis B. Childs on Saturday Satur-day evening, November 3, in the presence of immediate family members and close friends and was followed by an Open House in honor of the couple. The bride, formerly LaVon Jackson, Jack-son, charming young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jackson of Springville, was gowned in a white all-over lace ballerina length en-henced en-henced by a silk-net lace-edged veil which fell from a shirred-net crown studded with seed-pearls. She carried a single white orchid centered in a spray of stephanotis and satin ribbon. Attending her were her sister, Linda Jackson; also Flora Dudley, sister of the groom and Carol Shepherd. They wore pastel taffet-ta taffet-ta gowns and carried bouquets of white and pink mums and carnations. carna-tions. Best man to the groom was Robert Groesbeck. Others in the receiving line included in-cluded parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne A. Beck of Springville. The bride and groom are graduates gradu-ates of the local high school and the groom also graduated from Snow College before taking employment em-ployment with the Reclamation Service in Spanish Fork. He is , also presently enrolled in Vocational Voca-tional School at Provo. |
