Show Coach Paul Wilson Leaves SHS to Coach in California Springville high school students and -especially, the boys of the athletic department will be interested inter-ested in announcement made Wednesday Wed-nesday by Coach Paul Wilson, that he will .not be back to the Springville Spring-ville high school next year. He is going to the Sacramento County School district, according to Supt. W. W. Brockbank, who said that a new coach has not as yet been secured for the vacancy. Coach Wilson has been at the high school for the past four years and his work as ccach and in training train-ing a state championship team, has been highly commended. Only a small turnover of teachers teach-ers in the senior and junior higlT schools is expected for the coming 6vear although there are a few more leaving from the junior than from the senior high list. Francis Rowe has been engaged to teach in place of Hugh Baxter in the senior high school and Miss Jolene Rawle will teach some senior sen-ior and also junior high subjects replacing Miss Mae Finley. Mr. Baxter and Miss Finley retired from their jobs with the close of school this spring. Other placements in the junior high school and in the grades will be announced as the date of school opening nears. |
