The new Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Tingey, who were wed recently were honored at a wedding reception on September 4, in the Kolob Stake House. The couple were married in tne bait i.aKe u. D. S. Temple Sept. 3 wdth Elder LeGrande Richards officiating. The bride, formerly Joylene Rawle, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rawle of Springville, Spring-ville, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy D. Tingey, Tin-gey, also of this city.' The young couple greeted their ceremonies for the program which concluded the evening festivities. The new couple will make their home at 373 S. 1st E. while Marcel Mar-cel continues his studies at BYU and the bride teaches at Springville Spring-ville high school. Their honeymoon was spent in Southern Utah and they went through the temple at St. George and at Mesa, Arizona. The pretty fair-haired bride wore a gown of heavy white satin with fitted bodice and full skirt accented with tiny pearl buttons and lace collar. Her veil of brides' illusion was of fingertip length and fell from a small pearl and sequin-trimmed cap which fitted close to her head. She carried a bouquet of roses. The attendants who were attired at-tired in balerina length gowns in various shades of orchid, carried tiny nosegays. They included. Margene Rawle, Renee Rawde Morgan, Mor-gan, Nila Ruth Tingey, Gerry Murray, Doris Fietkau, Pauline Donithorne, Norma S. Horton, Fay Whitney, Margaret Alleman, Gwen Reid. Garth Tingey, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Also in the receiving line were trie parents of both the bride and bridegroom and the grandmother of the bridegroom. Little Diane Weight and Larry Rawle were trainbearers, Guests were greeted at the door by Bishop and Mrs. Leo Crandall of the Eighth ward. Gifts were displayed under the direction of Mrs. Ann Allan, Mrs. Ina Vane, Mrs. Gladys Wiscombe, Margaret and June Little of Morgan and Mrs. Thelma W. Bunker. Mrs. Viva Kerby, Mrs. Fen Bige-low, Bige-low, Mrs. Ida Harmer, Mrs. Pearl Bra'mall, Mrs. Norma Holmes and Mrs. Helen Whiting had charge of refreshments which were served at small tables. Assisting them in the serving were Anna Jean King. Carol Bray, Helen Johnson, R'Tene Cutler, Karen Peterson, Catherine Pratt, Nadine Hales of Orem; Jerry' Wiscombe. Spotlighting the decoration in the serving room was a three tiered tier-ed wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom and with a small replica of the Book of Mormon laid on the center cen-ter layer.
