Show Kizer Named A 11-Si ar Coach CHICAGO, Aug. 14 (U.R Noble Kizer of Purdue will coach the ail-American college team which will meet the Chicago Bears, professional pro-fessional champions, at Soldier Field the night of August 31. He will be assisted by Dick Han-ley, Han-ley, Northwestern, and Bob Zuppke, Illinois. That trio led all other coaches in the nation-wide poll, in which 617,000 votes were cast. The final votes were tabulated tabu-lated Sunday. Kizer, with 63,956 votes for first place, compiled 261,485 points. Hanley, with 60,392 for first, tallied 249,046 points. Zuppke with 58,986 first place votes, rolled up 245,048 points. Closely bunched for the next three places were Jimmy Crowley, Fordham, with 243,702 points; Slip Madigan, St. Mary's, with 241,980 points, and Harry Pipke, Michigan, with 240,728 points. |
