Show The Lark L. D. S. conference was held Sunday evening at the church. Speakers were Vernal C Webb, Rueben Wyberg and Parkey A. Young of South Jordan. Jor-dan. George Terry was injured in a mine accident Tuesday evening even-ing at the Lark mine. Harold Nielsen suffered a foot injury Saturday morning. Both men are recovering nicely. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Draper Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Livingston Living-ston and family, Mr. and Mrs. G. Draper, Mr- and Mrs. Vivian Cooper and family and Miss Don-I Don-I na Draper, all of Provo. William Mittendorf of Denver is a guest of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Nell, who were hosts at a dinner party in his honor Wednesday evening- Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nell of Bingham were out-of-town guests. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sonne had a dinner party Sunday evening. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Benton Boyd and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whitmore. On Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McDonald entertained at dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Filasetta and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nielsen. Mrs. E. W. Gleason and Mrs. i Robert Myerhoffer attended a Navy Mothers party in Salt Lake City last evening. Sunday evening Mrs- J. H. McDonald Mc-Donald has as dinner guests Mrs. Elliott W. Evans, Miss Bessie Hansen of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. J. William Grant. Mrs. George Coombs of Fountain Foun-tain Green is a guest of her daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. Fred Fahrni, for a week. Lark Notes if K. Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs-Dewey Mrs-Dewey Nelson, met with an accident acci-dent while playing football Monday Mon-day evening at the Bingham high school. - Mrs. David Peterson was an Ogden visitor Sunday. 101 men registered for conscription con-scription at the Lark school Wednesday. |
