Show F. F. A. BOYS DO WELL AT CONVENTION The Springville Future Farmers Farm-ers made a fine showing at the state convention at Logan the past week. They were accompanied accom-panied by Instructors W. H. Anderson An-derson and A. E. Jacobsen. Ruel Crandall, state president, had charge of the -convention meetings. He was also awarded the Union Pacific scholarship of Utah county as the most outstanding out-standing vocational agriculture student during his four years in high school. The scholarship amounts to $100. This is the second sec-ond time recently the award has come to Springville, with Keith Boyer receiving it last year. Kent Palfreyman and Lamar Boyer received the state Future Farmer degree for their fine work. Each was presented with a gold key with the F. F. A. insignia. In stock judging and farm mechanics the boys placed near the top and their visit to the convention was highly education- j al and enjoyable. |
